My big fat Greek wedding

If you've been around my blog for awhile you might know that I married into a crazy Greek family. Caleb's Propa and Proyia (great grandparents) came over from Greece and passed down their traditions and they stay strong today. We all know their Greek heritage and are proud of it. I didn't fully understand what being Greek meant when I first came into the family, but I'm getting a better idea.
they are...
extremely affectionate
lovers of food
party animals
did i mention crazy?

No gathering is too big or small for EVERYONE to come. So, we all worked hard to make it to Portland for Caleb's cousins wedding. A few were unable to attend and they were seriously missed!
I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of the wedding. I didn't want to think about anything so I left my camera at the hotel, but when I got to the location I just about died. It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to...and I've been to my share of weddings.
Well, they knew how to throw a party....they put Caleb and I at a table with his siblings and three of his guy cousin and their wives. We started laughing before we sat down and didn't stop until our heads hit our pillows.
The food was delish, the photo booth, complete with tons of props kept us busy for awhile, the firework show amazing...yes I said firework show, and the live band kepts us dancing till midnight. I actually think the parents lasted longer on the floor then we did.

We had an incredible weekend and I'm so thankful for all my crazy Greeks.
