fourth of july

Our Fourth of July weekend was close to perfection.
It started with Caleb surprising me with tickets to see this...

 and a night away here...

He kept it a secret for a whole month and a half! I would NEVER have been able to do that.  It was an incredible time together. I'm very thankful that Caleb continually pursues me and finds ways to make me happy. I missed the kids so much even though it was only a night, but I know that it's important for Caleb and I to make our relationship the priority. Getting uninterrupted time together is hard with little kids and it was nice to talk with out distraction.
then we came home and made fourth of july waffles...

spent lots of time together laughing...

wore our colors proud...

barbequed with close friends...one of which happens to be a photographer

her pictures are just a little better:)

and we ate way too much yummy food.

thankful for a great weekend with family and friends.
