DIY Advent Calendar.

I've been working on a couple Christmas projects lately and thought I would share them with ya'll. I LOVE Christmas and all that the holiday entails. Since Caleb and I got married we've been making our own traditions and slowly collecting decorations.

I want all the decor in our home around Christmas to point back to Christ and his birth. This year I made us an advent calendar doing just that.

It's pretty simple, inexpensive, and will remind us daily what we're celebrating.

I started with some pretty Christmas paper...

then I wrote out the Christmas story on the back. A verse or two per piece.

next cut out the numbers...

and spray painted cloths pins.

rolled them, tied them with string....

and hung them up.

Hope this helps inspire you as you're decorating!
