Apartment 101

Well, we're here, settling into our fourth apartment in three years. And I'm pretty sure I never want to move again. It's been a lot of work, but things are finally finding their place. I still have lots to do to make it just how I want it, but I thought I'd share some pictures of the kitchen area. (these are mostly for you Brooke!)
                                       Before...

Caleb's finished painting and getting ready to put in the floors.

                                  Coming together...

LOVE the floors...Caleb did such a good job!!
(Brooke, notice the extra cabinet? Burton let Caleb put it in)

Thanks to Amy for the mirror and Bekah for the table.

One of my favorite things...my pot rack.

This great piece was Caleb's grandma's...I'm thinking of painting it, but need some help with what to put on it...any ideas?

Well, I'm still working on the bedrooms, I'll get some more pictures and put them up soon.

Did you guys buy a place? How did you get to do the floors? Does your hubby want to come and do ours?!?!?!? We want to put some in in our dining area. I love love the piece that was your grandmas...don't paint it! Put lots of fun dishes on it...especially white! Love it all!

Oh I love it Jess!! It reminds me of Erin and Joey's old place with the chair rail and the light blue with wood floors! Soooo pretty!!!! And that hutch is soooo cute!!! I would totally leave it the color it is!!!! It looks so cozy there- I want to have a cup of coffee with you on your couch. :)

Thanks girls, so I guess maybe I won't paint the hutch. It's probably better since time and money are tight...(not that it takes too much to buy a can of paint.)
I'll keep working on the house and put up more pictures...I wish you all could just come over and tell me where to put things. I'm having a hard time with this apartment for some reason.
