It's been awhile...

So, I obviously haven't written much in awhile. This is due to multiple factors, the biggest being I was out of town for three and a half weeks visiting my family. When I'm away I very seldom get on the computer, let alone blog. Then, I didn't blog because it seemed that so much had happened I didn't really know where to start. So, this is an attempt to start up again.

I would love to share with you all that happened over Christmas break and show you some pictures, but I forgot my camera. I took lots of pictures on my parents camera, but they are slightly handicapped in any technology and don't know how to get the pictures off the camera. I didn't bring my computer....hence, no pictures. We had a great time in Idaho, but I was glad to come home. It's crazy that I'm calling Southern California home, but I am. Caleb wasn't able to be with me the whole time I was there and I missed him terribly. Home is where he is. Now that I'm back I'm slowly catching up on life.

The first thing I did when I got back to town was go to the doctor. He wanted to see me as soon as I got back to check and make sure everything was okay, since he'd just taken me off bed rest before I left. I was anxious to go. I love seeing the her whenever I get a chance and I knew he was going to do another ultra sound. Caleb came with me cause any chance he gets to see her he takes too. The doctor had a hard time getting a good look at her because of how much she was moving. (a good sign she's doing well, but makes it hard to do the measurements he needed.) But we got to see lots of her little features and she even waved at us. So cute! We ran into a little hiccup at the end though and that's why I'm telling you all this. I'm hoping for your prayers again. There is some kind of problem with my blood flow to hers. She's not getting enough blood flow from me to her. There's also a couple blood clots in my placenta. The doctor said he's seen worse cases and she could be fine. He just wants to keep a close eye on me. I'm supposed to rest as much as possible and take a baby Aspirin a day. He said she's pretty small right now and this could effect her growth. I'm also having a problem gaining weight. All this to say. We know God is in control and we trust His plan. He's teaching me a lot through all this, but I would covet your prayers.

I'll keep you updated as we hear things. I'm off obey doctors orders and take a nap while little Elijah is down.

Jess thanks for the update. I will be praying for you and baby girl for sure. That sounds really serious, and if i'm honest- scary. But you are so right, God is sovereign and He is totally in control of that baby's life. I am praying for His grace to sustain you as you wait and seek to stay healthy. Love you.
